Spring Comes to St. Bernardine's Monastery!

Peace and good! Signs of spring abound here at beautiful St. Bernardine's Monastery in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. I've included some pictures for your enjoyment. The first photo is of brother bee pollinating some tree flora, a couple photos show the community garden field freshly plowed, and the last photo shows flowers in bloom on the side of the Monastery. The Blair County Community Gardens and the Care for Creation Garden (C4C) are preparing for what hopes to be another great summer of gardening, presenting on care for creation related topics (nine are planned), and celebrating the growing season (we have a blessing ceremony and two festivals planned). Some C4C committees have already met and things are well under way! Stay tuned for more updates and pictures! Pat, TOR
